Trip Introduction - Everest Base Camp Trekking

Everest Base Camp Trekking is one of the most epic trails in the world. It is no wonder that it comes high in the list of must-trek-route of any avid trekker. For decades, trekkers have traversed the famed tracks of Everest Base Camp Treks. Located in the Khumbu Region, which is home to Mount Everest, the trek has more to offer for trekkers than just the world’s highest peak.

Everest Base Camp Trekking will take you along meandering paths, across ridges, up and down valleys, while coming up across one of the friendliest and most loyal people of the world, the Sherpas. Everest Region is almost synonymous with Sherpas, who make up a majority of the guides that have been hired by trekking companies. They will also recount some of the most beautiful myths associated with the mountains which will help the trekker to get a glimpse of the relation the local inhabitants have had with their mountains for generations.

Everest Base Camp Trekking take you to the region which also rich in vegetation and animal life. All along the path you will see rhododendrons and it will not be too surprising to see yak caravans. The Sherpa’s stories, the local community that you will meet sporadically along the way, the formidable yet glorious mountains that stand tall beside and behind you, will give you a complete experience that is sure to live with you forever. While Mount Everest is definitely the highlight of Everest Base Camp Treks for most trekkers, it would be gross injustice to say that Everest Base Camp Treks is all about Everest.

While it may not be wise for beginners to attempt Everest Base Camp Trekking, given the altitude and unfamiliar terrains, it can be the perfect route for intermediate level and seasoned trekkers. After a few days of acclimatization, the route should not be much of a problem. Nonetheless, it will still provide ample challenges and adventures. The trek can last anywhere between two weeks to three weeks depending on the exact route and pace of your trek.

So, if you are wondering about which trek route you should tick off your bucket list, Everest Base Camp Trekking may just be the right trek for you. Besides Everest Base Camp Treks, we offer a range of other trekking packages for Everest Region that offer different taste for our trekkers, out of which Everest View Treks – 11 days and Everest Base Camp Via Jiri – 20 days are the favorite packages among trekkers.
