Langtang Goshikunda Trekking is an astonishing trekking trail of Nepal, specially designed with the combination of the remote and picturesque valley of Langtang.The Langtang valley is aptly called "the valley of glaciers". Here the mountain - view is spectacular. On either side of valley, mountains rise, soaring in to the sky. The valley offers pain forest, slow moving rivers and swift mountain streams, rugged rock and snow- capped peaks.In the upper part of valley there are snow bridges spanning angry torrents, high passes enveloped in mist, tiny lake with icebergs floating on them and water of crystalline brightness.

Langtang Gosaikunda Trekking renders you eye-catching landscape, affinity of Nepali Culture, distant valley trek to Langtang region, along with the high mountain lakes at Gosaikunda.Gosainkunda, regarded as sacred land in Hinduism, is dotted with lakes atop the mountain, offering a quiet respite. There are few visitors outside of those who come for the summer festival.Langtang trek is on the area of Tibetan culture and home of Yak and Gosainkund is a great sacred lake on an elevation of 4200m.It is great combination of mountain and culture different. The trek starts from Sybru Bensi and ends at sundarijal. From Sybru Bensi, you will follow the Langtang River to the east until you get to Kyanching Gompa (3,049). From here we trek to Tserkuri (5184m) and have an excellent view of mountain. Then we trek back to Lama Hotel and ascend to Gosankund.

Outline Itinerary

Day 01: Arrive in Kathmandu airport and transfer your Hotel 1350m

From Tribhuban International Airport you will be transferred to your hotel. In the afternoon you will invite to visit our office for briefing about the each day program.

Day 02: Kathmandu valley sightseeing

Sightseeing around Kathmandu Valley,  Pashupatinath Swoyambhunath and Bhaktpur oldest city in Kathmandu valley.

Day 03: Drive from Kathmandu to Sayabrubesis (1440m)

After having breakfast transfer your Bus station to start your journey towards Sayabrubesis, along the bus journey you will drive through beautiful village and you will see snow Scapped Mountain along the langtang Himalaya and it will make  your trekking become pleasant and touch your heart. 

Day 04: Trek from Sayasbru besi to Lama Hotel (2480m)

From Syabrubensi we begin our trek by following the Langtang River, a river we will be following over the next few days, all the way to the head of the valley. After crossing the suspension bridge, the trails ascent ridge to Paira Lodge and after Paira Lodge, the trails, gradually ascent until to New Bridge and the trail climbs up to Rimche and after 40 minutes, we get then to Lama Hotel.

Day 05: Trek from Lama Hotel to Langtang (3430m)

Trekking trail continues to follow the Langtang khola, uphill steeply through a forest of hemlocks, maples and Rhododendron, past isolated lodges at Gumanchok (riverside) and ghunama to the famous lunch time spot of Ghoratabela (2970m). There are great views of langtang lirung from here, which you can admire as the army checks post, where you need to register your langtang trek permit. From Ghoratabela the trail uphill more gradually through U-shaped glacier valley to the villages of thangshyap, Gompa and finally langtang (3430m).

Day 06: Trek from Langtang to Kyangjin Gompa (3860m)

Trek from Langtang to Kyangjin Gompa it takes only the morning walking through tiny villages to uphill Kyangjin Gompa (3860m) where you will see joyful Buddhist monasteries, several accommodations and two great cheese factories (May to December).

Day 07: Acclimatization day in Kyangjin Gompa

From Kyangjin Gompa you can climb uphill to a viewpoint at 4300m on the glacier moraine to the north for superb views of langtang lirung. The most popular day kike to the Kyangjin RI viewpoint 4600m, while a tougher options is the climb to uphill Tsergo RI 4984m.

Day 08: Trek from Kyangjin Gompa to Lama Hotel/Changtang (2480m)

The trail walk downhill to sayabrubesis via langtang, Ghoratabela on the same trail you will uphill before and trail follow the valley and connect the Gosaikunda Trek, take left branches at the junction just before Dovan and  climb uphill to Thulo sayabrubesis.

Day 09: Trek from Lama Hotel/Changtang to Thulo sayasbru village (2260)

Early in the morning after breakfast trail slightly goes pairo landslide and leads you to Thulo Sayasbru (2,260m). Thulo Sayasbru is a beautiful Sherpa and Tamang village from where you can observe the miraculous vista of Langtang Himal and Ganesh Himal and overnight here.

Day 10: Trek from Thulo sayasbru to Sing Gompa (3250m)

Morning breakfast in Thulo sayasbru village the trail slightly goes uphill through beautiful rhododendron, Bamboo and pine trees. Along the trail you will past several mountains village to arrive Chandan Bari Sing Gompa and visit cheese factory in the langtang region of Nepal, where you will overnight today.

Day 11: Trek from Chandan Bari Sing Gompa to Gosaikunda (4360m)

After morning breakfast in Chandan Bari sing Gompa the trail slightly goes uphill to Gosaikunda via Lauribinayak.  Along the trails past rhododendron and pine forest trees and vista of Ganesh Himal, Langtang Lirung, and Manaslu range, Hiunchuli and Tibetan peak is high lights of the adventure, you trek towards Gosaikunda (4,361m) and overnight here.

Day 12: Trek from Gosaikunda to Sing Gompa (3250m)

After morning quick trips around Gosaikunda lakes, breakfast and trek downhill to Sing Gompa via Lauribinayak. Along the trail past rhododendron and pine forest trees and vista of Ganesh Himal, Langtang Lirung, and Manaslu range, Hiunchuli and Tibetan peak and overnight here.

Day 13: Trek from Sing Gompa to Dhunche (2090m)

Morning breakfast in Chandan Bari Sing Gompa, trail directly drops you to downhill to Dhunche via small village of Ramche and other village along the route. Today your journey will be more enjoyable and beautiful, walking through rhododendron, pine trees and Himalayan Bamboo. Finally arrive in Dhunche and celebrate your last night accommodation with your adventure staff.

Day 14: Drive from Dhunche to Kathmandu 6 to 7 hours.

Drive from Pokhara to Kathmandu and transfer your hotel, spare time for your family shopping evening celebrate farewell dinner with Nepali Family.

Day 15: Departure for your onwards flight.
