Tsum Valley Trek was officially opened to trekkers in 1991, but mountaineering expeditions have long had access to the area. Gorkha is the traditional starting point for Manaslu treks that go up the Buri Gandaki valley. Trekking around Manaslu offers a unique opportunity to experience a relatively untouched region of Nepal.

The Tsum valley which sits between 1905 and 5093 metres, is one of the most fascinating tourist destinations in Nepal. It is also known as the “Hidden Valley.” It boasts Baudha Himal and Himal Chuli to the west, Ganesh Himal to the south and Sringi Himal to the north. The trek takes us through the remote Upper and Lower Tsum regions.
